Created at the request of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said in the ’70s and ’80s, these rare watches will go under the hammer on May 13, 2023

Christie’s continues to ride on the demand for rare watches with a new auction featuring a covetable selection of wristwatches from Patek Philippe, F.P. Journe, Cartier and more, happening on May 13, 2023.

The main attractions this time, however, are four Rolex watches that were made specially at the request of His Majesty Qaboos bin Said Al Said, the former Sultan of Oman. Each in near perfect condition, the watches feature either the Omani Khanjar emblem or the signature of the Sultan—touches that only add to their allure.
