Love Marie Ongpauco-Escudero, famously known as Heart Evangelista, was 13 years old when she entered the Philippine entertainment industry. She started as a commercial model and is now recognised as one of the most accomplished celebrities in the country.
A professional actor, television host, international and local brand endorser, sold-out visual artist, best-selling author, fashion influencer, beauty icon, and entrepreneur, Evangelista advocates for children’s health and education, individuals with special needs, and animal welfare.

But among her many iterations, the present influencer version has made her an international celebrity. During her outings in Europe in the past, she posted photos with A-list celebrities like Vogue’s Anna Wintour and Korean actress Song Hye-kyo.
Her massive social media following also made her a seriously influential brand endorser. In fact, in Launchmetrics’ list last year, Evangelista placed third in terms of Media Impact Value (MIV), which keeps her in the company of other heavy hitters, like first placer Kim Kardashian, and top ten finishers that include Kris Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Dua Lipa.
What projects in the last two years are you most proud of? Why?
I’m proud of my art collaborations with Moonlight Arts Collective and Brandon Boyd and recently with Secret Fresh Gallery for my art toys collectables. There is something about art that feeds my soul. It’s more of an achievement. Being appreciated as an artist hits me differently.
