And though only one woman made it into the top ten––Kwong Siu-hing, with a fortune of US$13.4 billion––there are plenty of powerful females to take note of in Hong Kong. With International Women's Day on the horizon, we're breaking down the top eight richest women in the city, from hoteliers to property tycoons, these are the Hong Kong women who made it onto Forbes' Hong Kong’s Richest 2021 list.

1. Kwong Siu-hing
Net worth: US$13.4 billion
What she does: The 92-year-old widow of Sun Hung Kai Properties co-founder, Kwok Tak-seng, served as the company’s chairman from 2008 until 2011 and remains the biggest shareholder.
