The funeral took place at 6pm Singapore time and will be followed by a burial at the royal vault in King George VI Memorial Chapel
The UK has said goodbye to its longest-reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth II, whose funeral was held at Westminster Abbey in London on September 19. The last time the country saw a state funeral was almost 60 years ago, for the late British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
The Queen’s funeral was attended by over 2,000 guests including her son, King Charles III, and his wife Queen Consort Camilla, as well as other members of the British royal family, and heads of state from around the world.
In attendance were Singapore President Halimah Yacob, US President Joe Biden, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan, French President Emmanuel Macron, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and more.

Members of European royal families in attendance included Belgium’s King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, and King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain, as well as the royal families of Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, while the guest list also included Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan, the Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah, Jordan’s King Abdullah, and Malaysia’s Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
