With energies opening up this week, Tatler’s astrologer Casey Chan explains how people born under each star sign can attain their most authentic selves
Energies are opening up this week, shedding light on our healing journey as well as our path to becoming our most authentic self. On July 23, asteroid Chiron, coined as the “wounded healer”, stations retrograde in the sign of Aries. Wherever Chiron travels to, it opens up the possibility of transforming our biggest wounds into strengths. From now until the end of the year, we are asked to slow down when it comes to healing. During the next five months, we are reminded of the paradoxical nature of growth, where most of the work is done during the process of integration, where we learn to do less and reflect more.
On the same day, Mercury in Leo comes to square Uranus in Taurus, suggesting unexpected communications that may be intense and uncomfortable. It is best to hold off on any important conversations on this day as our judgements may be clouded, where the ego wants to gain the upper hand in every interaction. Instead, leave these discussions for the end of the week. On July 27, Mercury and Venus meets in the sign of Leo. Influenced by radiant Venus, we could work our natural charm and bless any difficult conversations with creativity and playfulness. As the planet of communications leaves dynamic Leo and enters sensible Virgo on July 29, our minds become extra clear, logical and organised.
