Guests are welcomed by an impressive double-height living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private landscaped terrace, with unparalleled views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline. To call it postcard perfect doesn't do it justice.
The Peninsula Suite also features a dining room, which seats up to 10 guests; a private office with a sleek lounge area; a personal gym featuring state-of-the-art equipment by Life Fitness; and a master bedroom with an ensuite, complete with a bathtub that looks out over stunning views of the city. For movie buffs, a dedicated screening room offers a private cinema experience with a wall-to-wall Panasonic 85-inch flat-screen television, Klipsch surround-sound speakers and automated, reclining seats.
Tatler Tip: You'd be hard-pressed to find better movie snacks than room service from The Peninsula, namely their handmade chocolates and pastries.

Suite Design: Designed with good feng shui in mind, The Peninsula Suite is a work of architectural harmony, with interiors that meld restrained minimalism with timeless elegance.
Artistic touches are found throughout. A pair of statement works on silkscreen by renowned American contemporary artist Pat Steir welcome guests in the foyer, and upon entering the suite is a fluid wooden sculpture by Chinese artist Sun Yi. The room opens to reveal an impressive living and dining area adorned with a suspended, hand-blown Lasvit Bohemian glass chandelier.
Panels of high-gloss, burled mahogany adorn the walls of the dining area, which features a burr-walnut dining table and Poltrona Frau dining chairs. An ensemble of richly detailed, hand-embroidered armchairs brings the living area into focus, complete with an antique Biedermeier sofa and baby grand piano. Presiding over the space is a Jolynn Krystosek sculptural paper cutting, and a towering oil painting by New York artist Trine Bumiller.
