The shores of Lake Como are still buzzing with excitement after Donnie Yen and Cissy Wang renewed their vows in a fabulous celebration ahead of their 20th wedding anniversary
On July 19, beloved Hong Kong movie star and Asia's Most Influential honouree Donnie Yen celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary with wife Cissy Wang in a star-studded affair at Lake Como in Italy.
The event was nothing short of magical, with stunning scenery of the lake serving as the perfect backdrop for the romantic occasion. The couple, who have been married for 20 years, chose to renew their vows in an intimate ceremony at Villa Balbiano surrounded by their children, Jasmine (19) and James (15), and relatives including Jessica Jann and Kenneth King. The guest list also included some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry and members of the Tatler community—including Tatler Philippines editor-in-chief, Anton San Diego, and Hong Kong VIPs such as Bonnae Gokson and Francis Cheng, who gathered to witness the special moment.
“20 years ago, Cissy and I got married in a humble wedding. [Since then] we created our family and our company. We’ve grown together, succeeded together, overcome hardships and have shared the same goals, values, love and experiences,” Yen said to his fans in an Instagram post shared earlier this week, where he also shared behind-the-scenes photos from the occasion. . “Today, we decided to renew our vows, and although she didn’t ask for it, I wanted to give her a fairytale wedding … This was an emotional moment for us,”.
