This World Sleep Day, get a good night’s rest with tencel bedlinen that could help promote relaxation and contribute to a restful slumber
A third of our lives is spent sleeping in bed, which is why it’s important to invest in bedding that’s not only durable and luxurious, but also extremely comfortable. There are a variety of bedding materials on the market, whether you opt for the traditional cotton bed linen or silk sheets; and a new material that's been rising in popularly recently is Tencel bedding.
Tencel is essentially a brand name for lyocell fabric. This innovative fabric is made from the pulp of eucalyptus wood, where the pulp is dissolved and then regenerated and spun into natural fibres that are then woven together. The material is highly favoured as it’s long-lasting and durable. The lightweight and breathable fabric is perfect for hot sleepers or those living in tropical countries; it wicks away night sweats, and keeps you cool and comfortable, even during warm nights. The smooth fabric has a silk-like texture—it boasts a frictionless surface with a soft sheen to it, making it a great option for those with sensitive skin.
