The founder and CEO of Juni Records shares his choice of tunes that never fail to lift his spirits when times get tough
Ever since he was a child, Adryanto Pratono enjoyed listening to diverse genres of music and discovering new artists. He later made a career for himself as a music journalist with Hai Magazine, before founding his own entertainment company, Juni Records, in 2013.
The first talent to join his Jakarta-based company’s roster was singer-songwriter Raisa, who is now one of Indonesia’s biggest music stars. Pratono has since grown the company's presence across Southeast Asia and added new business arms Juni Goods and Juni Concert.
When it comes to Pratono’s choice of music to get him through tough times like right now, he has a few tracks in mind that remind him of better times. "Everything may seem so out of place, but we should still feel hopeful that better days are coming."
Here are the 10 tracks he says never fail to lift his mood.

Good Life, Kanye West and T Pain
"This song was from one of Kanye’s best albums and it reminds me of how there are good things in life that I should be grateful for."
Rawnald Gregory Erickson the Second, STRFKR
"'All my life, there they go, oh please stay’—that is how the whole song goes, and even though it’s repetitive, I can resonate with it; the feeling of wanting to hold on to something good."
