This follows the success of the lifestyle group’s massive opening in Las Vegas in 2021, which was its first time venturing outside of Asia

Beginning as a pioneering nightlife brand in Singapore in 1991, Zouk Group has since evolved beyond its status as a purely local institution to become a behemoth in the global entertainment and lifestyle scene.

In 2021, the group debuted outside of Asia for the first time, launching in the nightlife capital of the United States—Las Vegas. Its Sin City nightclub is also the largest yet, with the capacity to fit more than 2,000 partygoers.

In June 2023, the company announced that it will be opening in two new locations: Tokyo and Los Angeles.

Aimed to open this September or October, the Tokyo concept will reside within Granbell Square, a 13-storey lifestyle and hospitality destination by Japan’s Belluna company. Located in the luxury Ginza district, Zouk Tokyo is expected to be able to house up to 1,000 people.

Aside from the club, Granbell Square will also house a boutique hotel, spa, karaoke rooms and restaurants—one of which Zouk is looking to operate.

Andrew Li, CEO of Zouk Group, says, “We’re thrilled to launch Zouk in Tokyo and collaborate alongside Belluna, as they have established themselves as leaders throughout various industries in Japan. Tokyo, a global, metropolitan city loved by many, is the perfect market for Zouk Group to bring our world-class entertainment.”

A few months later, in March or April 2024, Zouk will also open in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The 6,500 sqft concept will take over the existing Nightingale club on La Cienega Boulevard, owned by Sbe, the lifestyle hospitality company that Zouk is partnering with for this project.

The space will be redesigned by Studio Collective’s Christian Schulz and team to include distinctive features such as curved seating and faceted chandeliers iconic of Zouk’s experiences.
